US rocked by second night of protests
Protesters burned a police car during a second night of protests on Tuesday in Ferguson, after the state's governor sent in hundreds more National Guard troops. Tensions are still high after a grand jury's decision not to indict a police officer for shooting Michael Brown. Police in Ferguson made 44 arrests overnight, but the streets were largely calmer. Key Iraq city "on verge" of falling into ISIS control
Islamic State fighters are reported to have entered the center of Ramadi, the provincial capital of Iraq's largest province, about 68 miles west of Baghdad. Officials warning the city is on the verge of falling to the extremists. The gain would be Islamic State's most significant victory in months. Olly Barratt is in Iraq.... (cut)
The Obama administration is set to announce significantly stricter regulations on ozone emissions, a major contributor to smog and pollution. Environmental groups wanted even stricter standards, while the Republicans have vowed to block or overturn the proposed changes to these regulations. Washington correspondent Priscilla Huff has more:
NATO sees Russia ready for Ukraine incursion
NATO's top commander says Russia still has enough troops stationed on Ukraine's border to mount a major incursion, and it's using its might to affect Ukraine. Russian troops are also active inside Ukraine, training and advising separatist rebels. Moscow has routinely denied it played any direct role in the conflict in Ukraine, which has claimed more than 4,000 lives.
AP sources: Top candidate for defense job bows out
It seems Michele Flournoy, a main contender to replace Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel, has taken herself out of consideration for the Pentagon's top job.

Crouch hired Rick as the Marketing Director for Trinity Broadcasting Network where Rick repositioned the TBN brand inside the cable industry – and played an important role in negotiating the early contracts to launch TBN on DirecTV, DISH, and the former PrimeStar DBS systems. Rick resigned from TBN in September 1998 after receiving a dramatic call from God to fulltime ministry.
